As an avid Xbox gamer I am always searching the web for prototypes and information on the whereabouts of the Xbox 720 and what It will look like. In this article I am going to show with you some prototypes I have found and some strong rumors about the Xbox “720”.
This first design which has been swarming the web for quite some time now, it somewhat reminds me of the Dyson Ball. Another problem is that it doesn’t look very portable. Imagine walking that around the street whilst you are taking it to your friends to play with him/her. My last point is that through the glass/plastic you can see all the components, this is not an appealing look for a so called next generation console. If I had to rate this out of 10 I would give it a mediocre 3/10
This is another version of the Xbox “720” which again is all over the internet. This design has a much more appealing look to it and would defiantly be something to show off when you have visitors at your house. I again can’t see to many new features except for the impressive design. If I had to rate this out of 10, I would award it 6/10 for it’s great design, unfortunately the console loses marks for being extremely hard to transport to other places to play it.
This is the last design I am going to show you today. This is my favorite because of Its sheer simplicity, the console is true to all of its ancestors. This console isn’t the best looking out of the three, but it is the most useable and probably the cheapest to make. I would give this prototype 8/10 for being true to its Xbox ancestors.

Personally I like the first two designs they best b/c they aren’t traditional. Who cares if you can’t transport a console easily, how many times do you take a console to someone else’s house, very rare for me these days as everyone I game with or know has all 3 or at least 2 of the 3.
It would actually be nice to see something different from the norm and actually something you could showcase in your home instead of just a standard looking rectangle or square box but I know it’s a pipe dream as it’s more costly and some people wouldn’t like it.
Anyway the last design is probably closest to what the new xbox may look like but I’m sure it will be vastly different from that as well.
The first one is the best looking and the second one is just ugly, I mean come on it looks like a retarded six yar old designed that one. Way too big and it looks heavy.
