As many of you know Dead Nation is a PSN exclusive that was released on November 30, 2010 in North America and December 1, 2010 in Europe. The game is your standard aerial view shoot em up with one exception, you must survive the zombie apocalypse along a very well done story mode. Dead Nation has taken many awards this year including Game of the Year from three sources and Editor’s Choice from five sources.
The game has received much acclaim throughout the Playstation universe, but the main concern with the game was the fact that the online co-op did not have voice chat. Well, Housemarque has announced that the long awaited patch has a release date. March 7th, this monday, Dead Nation will receive online voice chat, checkpoint saves, and the ability to copy save files. These features enhance a game that is widely considered the best PSN game of the year. It is good to see Housemarque is sticking with their game and giving back to their fan base. If you haven’t already downloaded Dead Nation, I highly suggest it. The game provides hours of fun and has replay value which many games lack.
