Another Tuesday is here, which means another Playstation Store Update. This week will feature four PS3 games, one PS1 Classic, seven PSP games, tons of DLC, five demos and several avatars for your PSN account.
PSP owners will be happy this week as the PSP will receive seven games as well as three Minis. Dissidia 012: Final Fantasy Prologues (only $2.99) will help prepare you for Dissidia 012: Final Fantasy which is due out March 22nd. Gods Eater Burst, Jikandia: The Timeless Land, and MLB 2k11 will also receive disc releases and will be available at most retail locations.
As far as console games go, the update will bring four games. Hard Corps: Uprising, MAG, the Prince of Persia HD Collection, and Slam Bolt Scrappers. Hard Corps: Uprising will be a solid addition to the Contra franchise. MAG is no longer a PSN+ exclusive and will not be available to the general public. The Prince of Persia HD Collection will be $39.99 and will include the Sands of Time, Warrior Within, and Two Thrones. Slam Bolt Scrappers is an interesting, original idea brought to us by Firehose Games.
Playstation Plus members shouldn’t be expecting much this update. Aside from a couple discounts there is nothing this week. That does not mean they have nothing to look forward to though. The other content in this update more than makes up for the lack of PSN+ content.
